Getting Started with WordPress
WordPress is the most popular content management system in the world. Whether you want to start a blog, a business site, or an online store, WordPress gives you the tools to build it quickly.
After installing WordPress, the first thing you’ll notice is the dashboard. From here you can create posts, add pages, install themes, and activate plugins. A good habit is to start by choosing a clean, lightweight theme and then extending your site’s features with plugins only when you really need them.
Don’t forget to configure your permalinks under Settings → Permalinks. A URL structure that includes the post name is recommended for both SEO and user readability.
